Widget does not update Samsung S10 Android 11

@petra-pik I have the same issue, widget will not update unless i press the button for update it. I am using an Asus ROG phone 5

Hallo, same here, the widget is not updating, there is no possibility to allow windy to use "always the location" in the settings, i use Android 12 and Galaxy S20FE.

@carsten-walter Does it mean that the widget shows no data or it just doesn't update the location? Do you have GPS turned on?

It does not update the location, I have to do manually.

@carsten-walter @WillanZar Hello, I would recommend to remove the widget, then restart your phone and place widget again.

That does not change anything, I have already done that.
The widget does not refresh by itself, I upgraded from Android 11 to 12, that's reason for the problem, the widget works flawless on an other device with an older version of Android. -
@carsten-walter Did you restart the phone? Please also check that you have allowed Windy to use GPS while using the app.

Hello,
I have done that all. Windy has the permission to use GPS.
In the settings there is no possibility to allow windy to use always GPS, that might be the problem, it is only working when you hit the refresh button manually. -

Hello, no, I didn't.
The widget does not update on two devices with Android 12. -
