Incorrect Major US City Listing

San Jose, California (USA) has been incorrectly spelled for the few years I've used the windy app on Android. It is listed throughout the app including the widget by its phonetic spelling "sean hou'zei". Please correct to San Jose. Thank you.

That’s strange, in IOS app, it is correctly spelled
Have you tried to delete the app and re-load it?

I am having the same issue. It is persistent across all local town / neighborhood listings in the map view as well as the Android Widget. Running Android 11. Please see screenshots below:

@sjppg Hello, I have tested it on Android and even there it is display correctly, both in app and widget. Could you please try to reinstall the app and possibly upgrade to the newer version?

I have cleared the app data / cache, restarted my phone, and uninstalled / reinstalled the app. Nothing seems to fix this issue. I am using the latest version of the app from the Play Store 28.1.1 (2021-02-16, 13:15)

@sjppg Hello, this should be corrected on OpenStreetMap.org, since we download map data from them.
