      Hi,

I'm testing the Point Forecast API with a Trial key for some months, and I noticed that the values for precipitations (past3hprecip-surface, past3hsnowprecip-surface, past3hconvprecip-surface) never get above 1mm. I'm testing 'arome', 'iconEu' and 'gfs' models.

The maximum values I got since december 2020 are:
      past3hprecip_surface: 0.028708770871162415
      past3hsnowprecip_surface: 0.028214428573846817
      past3hconvprecip_surface: 0.019200000911951065

Usually the api gives values such as 1.2867957650985161e-24

That seems quite odd. Before getting a Professional key, could you please confirm the API is working correclty in regards to precipitation data?

@patrikb Hello, the API should be working correctly. What location are you testing? Of course the values depend on that.

@korina I'm using 41.104167, 15.358333 as test coordinates (but the trial should return data about random points, right?), making requests every day for each model.

@marekd @Korina Any news regarding this issue?
Another user reporterd a similar problem with the Professional version.

Could someone with a Professional API key compare the precipitation values (for a rainy location) with the windy website and cofirm that they corrsepond?

@patrikb Hello, our development department confirms that API uses the same data as you can see on desktop or in the app. There should not be any inconsistency.
