What is difference from annual subscription vs. buy for one year

I am confused at the price difference between a year subscription vs an annual subscription. Both are for a year minimum so why the price difference?
I looked online but I could not find this info. Can anyone explain?
I'm trying to determine which one to sign up for.

@kevin159 I believe the only difference is that the annual subscription is automatically renewed unless you manually cancel it, whereas the "buy for one year" option is that you have premium access for one year and then is not automatically renewed. The reason as to why is probably that it's a marketing strategy. Those who pay for the annual subscription are likely to stay on longer, so it's a little cheaper.

@herxai Thank you for replying to my question. I appreciate it. Seems to me the annual subscription is the best choice then. I can still cancel if I'm not happy with the service.
