Is it the case with one model or all models ?

If we compare the reported wind direction and the forecast off the Southwest coast of Canada these last days, we don't find huge discrepancies.
Here is the wind observation recording at weather buoy 46204 (btw it is not a ship) and the predicted wind by ECMWF.
The result is about the same with GFS or ICON.
So there is no obvious bug.
