Added Fog to Clouds (iPad Pro). Touch Fog and fog is displayed (would be nicer to have a more visible layer). Now try to go to any other heading- wind, temp etc. Will not change. Go from Fog to Low clouds and it is not displayed properly. Cannot move to other category. Must go back to Fog, then to Cloud Base to get back to normal. Low clouds will also work after that.

I am having the same issue. I noticed that when you tap on fog it is deselecting all the forecast models. If you tap on ICON 13km it does show the fog layer and let you cycle the other cloud layers. The app should automatically switch to another forecast model if the current doesn’t have fog data. Until they fix this the above is a workaround.

Only ICON provide fog data, so it is normal that the other models are deselected. Seems no way to change that.

On iPad I have no problem switching from Fog to Cloud or to Low clouds or to any layer...
But as said above, the Fog layer is ONLY available with ICON model.
            Please post screenshots to clarify.

              1. Select Fog
              2. Now select Low Clouds- stays on Fog layer
              3. Now select Temperature- stays on Fog
              4. Now select Wind- stays on Fog
              5. Select Cloud Base to cancel Fog
              6. Normal operation

Sorry- could not upload ‘normal’ cloud base image (#5 above). Get error- probably too large files. No idea how to reduce image size on iPad.

I have succeeded to reproduce your issue on iPad. I get what you describe. But the Fog layer in this case is blank. Actually when it works properly there is fog in Nova Scotia which is not displayed in your screenshot. To show it I must change the zoom level, the fog appears and then it is possible to switch to other layers i.e. when Fog is not blank.

Strange, I cannot reproduce it on my iPad. I can switch from Fog to Low Cloud without problems

This bug seems to appear with ICON global but not ICON-eu. So take for example USA, and switch several time from Fog to another layer and back to Fog, and again... The issue appears when the fog layer is blank without foggy areas. So switching to other layers show them blank too.

When ICON global is blank, the domain of ICON-eu over Europe is showing fog !

@idefix37 @bob16200 @malcolmbrown @Yves70 Hello, I was not able to reproduce this bug on desktop, however in the app I have observed that when you have selected ICON EU/Fog and hover your map over US, the model does not automatically switch to ICON global. We will try to fix this.

@korina If it can be fixed that would be wonderful. The effect is the same on my iPhone 11, so I assume the eu vs global is the issue.

@korina Also, when in Fog, I cannot change the forecast model as I can with any other layer. Zooming in or out has no effect for me (I believe that was mentioned earlier). If I go to another layer and change the model and then go back to fog, it has no effect. Fog seems to lock everything.

@bob16200 Hello, this is because no other model offers Fog data.
