Why pay 990€ / year for the api?

I would like to use the Windy Api instead of the Wunderground Api. It is just for a webapp for personal use and maybe in the future for a small group of volunteers. It will never be used for a profit. Why is there no subsciption option that would support my needs?

@ronaldj Hello, our API is usually used for long term projects, therefore we do not consider monthly subscription to be an option. Nevertheless, Windy API is already a subscription, but annual one.

It is a self fulfilling prophecy, you don't allow for smaller projects to emerge so ofcourse you have the impression it is only for long term projects. I am not going to pay this crap amount for just asking 50 calls per month, perhaps implement it on RapidAPI.

@beire Hello, I am sorry that you feel this way, however Windy API is not our main focus as a platform, therefore we only offer limited options for usage. Furthermore we are not the only platform that has such a price point.
