Wind gust not working

I use this app for work to see wind conditions before I risk flipping an 18 wheeler, and since the last update I cannot get the wind gust function to work. It only displays the current temperature no matter what category I choose. I tried changing my settings on the app to no success.
Considering the time of year it is in the Midwest United States, it's very unfortunate that this app isn't doing what I need to make my job safer.

Are you talking about the values below town names?
The default display is temperature. To get Wind gusts or Wind you must selected Forecast weather and the corresponding layer.
