Timings incorrect
-
This happens in 1 hour forecast mode. In the attached image when the ECMF is at the top in 1 hour mode the ICON-EU forecast at 1000 is 19 knots gusting 31. When the ICON-EU forecast is at the top the 19knots gusting 31 is at 1600. It looks like the ICON-EU forecast is forced and transposed into the 1 hour time slots. This happens in Chrome web browser and on Windy app on my Android phone

Said in other words, the set of wind/gust speed values is the same in both tables.
But at right hand of these tables the change of time steps (1h -> 3h) is not at same time.
This is what needs to be corrected. -
@idefix37 Hello, could you please specify what exactly is wrong?
-
@korina
If you consider the last 10 wind speeds predicted by ICON in both tables... 3kt, 6kt, 7kt, 6kt, 9kt, 13kt, 14kt, 12kt, 10kt, 8kt...they are identical but they are not shown at same hours.
In the top table, 3kt, 6kt, 7kt, 6kt, 9kt, 13kt, 14kt correspond to 20h, 21h, 22h, 23h, 00h, 01,h 02h.
In the bottom table, 3kt, 6kt, 7kt, 6kt, 9kt, 13kt, 14kt correspond to 20h, 23h, 02h, 05h, 08h, 11h, 14h
In both tables the same wind speeds should be displayed according to the same shown hours.
Which table is wrong?
I suppose that the model in the first line (ECMWF in top table and ICON in bottom table) gives the time line. But models don't have the same time line. So the bottom table is probably right for ICON, but wrong for ECMWF?
Developers should confirm this issue. -
@idefix37 Hello, thank you for letting us know, we have already informed our dev team to look into this.
