Start Zoom Level

Is there a way to set the zoom at startup? I'm really only interested in the area I live in and don't want to have to zoom in every time.

@therabbits I agree. This is annoying. It would be good to have a preset zoom level at least for every favorite location.

A priori this requirement was recently aknowledged and should be implemented in next releases, see this discussion.

The linked post does not mean that this requirement should be implemented in next release, just that it could be discussed in development planning.

It is said "we will take it into account when developing future features", I would dare hoping it means "should be implemented"... :o)))
