<![CDATA[Some bugs with METAR in Palau]]>In the list of METAR reports for PTRO airport, for some reason, most are mixed with reports from other airports.
For example latest report on windy.com:

It is very different from what is on the servers of NOAA:

And it mixed with MMMY and MMAN (Mexico).
This is not an isolated incident. So most of the reports from this station are mixed with reports from random airports:

On the graph, this bug is accompanied by a sudden drop in temperature from +29° to +1° or snow at +30°

In the general format of METARs, the end indicated by the symbol =
not #
Maybe the bug happens because of this.
