Puerto Rico Forecast

PR Forecast has become very inaccurate. We had extremely high winds for many hours last night. The forecast did not disclose any high winds. Wind direction showed winds out of the east. Winds remained steady out of the west. Banana trees were knocked down! Branches snapped. How can we trust a forecast that bad in a hurricane prone location?
