Annual vs year what is the difference?
-
As a non English speaking person for me the meaning is the same. I pay for a annual fee or a yearly fee.
Soo, what is the difference? Is buy for one year. Not he same as annual but annual is just automatic for a other year?
When it says that it is 1.6€ a month, does that mean I can cancel any month?
Cheers,

G'day!
In terms of yearly vs annual fee, I refer to them as being the same thing. But to be more specific find the definitions below.
annually = once every year (being what windy uses for their annual subscription)
yearly = once each year (generally a one-time payment)
So with the windy "annual" subscription (which you pay per month), you can pay
- $1.70 USD each month cancel anytime (works out to be $20.89 a year in total)
OR
- $32.99 USD on a one time payment
I recommend checking out what the prices are that apply to you so to check that simply:
On desktop Three lines in the top left > select windy premium
In the end, I think it would pay to also check out the terms and conditions just to make sure you know what the go is.
Thanks,

@__willt thanks for the explanation, now it makes more sense.
Do you happen to know what the 'cancel any time' means? I would usually only use it for 6Months a year, so I rather have monthly subscriptions (I was pretty sure that Windy has montly subscriptions but I cannot find them anywhere). So does cancel any team means 'cancel once a year'? or cancel on every month and get refunded?cheers,

@rvantwisk @__willt Hello, the explanation is as follows:
Annual subscription is a regular subscription that renews every year for 18.99USD.
Buy for one year does not renew, it is one time payment for Windy Premium for 1 year.We do not have monthly subscription anymore.

I noticed an input for a promotional code. I want to subscribe to premium. How may I receive the promotional code?
-
@hobartgapp Hi, there are no promo codes at the moment.

@korina
How on Earth does it make sense to have a “Buy for one year” option that does not renew and is “for 1 year” and is $29.99, when the subscription option gives you one year for $18.99?!?!? I can simply subscribe, pay the $18.99, and then cancel the subscription the next day, and that way I have 1 year of premium access for much less!
Don’t you have the one-time-payment option if I want to pay once for the Premium access indefinitely? Most apps have such an option. -
@benedhal Hello, the one-time purchase is for people who do not want a subscription, therefore they can purchase 1 year access without any continuity.

@korina Thank you for confirming. I will use the subscription option.
