      Whem zooming in to my erea from chart of europe wind colour is wrong. Changes from about 4 to 8 in detailed zoom.

          And what does 4 and 8 mean? Wind speeds in km/h, in knots, in Beaufort, in m/s....?
          Did you extrapolate these values ​​from the color scale?

                    In fact you are talking about the colour of the animated particles which give the direction of the wind. Their colour, white or purple, has NOTHING to do with the wind speed. Their colour is only chosen to present sufficient contrast against the background map.
                    The wind speed is given by the colours of the Wind layer according to the colour scale. But at high zoom levels the wind layer disappears to show the details of the base map. At these zoom levels you get only the wind direction.
                    To display a precise wind speed at a location, use the weather picker.

                    15kt is 4 Beaufort not 8 !
