Windy 3D mode is back!

Thank you very much for bringing back 3D mode. This is super handy! In particular it is the best source I have found for the Arctic and Antarctica regions of Earth. Keep up the excellent work Windy!

@korina
I can imagine it. But I've still the same issue I shown.
Is your screenshot from PC or from Mac?
The issue is probably due to the small dots which show the rain in Clouds layer, because I have no problem with Low clouds, Medium clouds or High clouds. -
I love the 3D version! I've been thinking that Windy needs one and surprise, surprise, here it is! :D
3D works great, very smooth on Firefox, even better than 2D (where the browser feels like struggling with rendering the map).
The only con of 3D on shows country names, which is nice but is distracting and makes it harder to analyze the data beneath. I wish I could turn off/on those names. -
Great to see. So much more help with the detailed 3D.

Great! Good work!

@idefix37 I am using Chrome on Mac.

I have just seen the option! And I am IN TEARS already :) Tears of JOY and GRATITUDE. I have waited for your website ALL MY LIFE.. and that is half a century now :) I LOVE YOU GUYS. Can I help in any way?

Hi,
It's great! I live on the top of Eire on the edge of the North Atlantic, exposed to East-North-West and I always find it helpful and interesting to take a wader view (it helps to 'see what's coming' ... and I very much like seeing the weather on our sphere: Our Planet EARTH! ... with it's hemispheres in proportion and in balance, comparable, with it's wider and narrower circles that the weather has to move in ... it all makes complete sense! In an unfortunate time when so many other things make much less sense ;-)
I really enjoyed 'EARTH' (earth[dot]nullschool[dot]net - long before Windy was just a gleam in your eye. (I remember years ago when you acknowledged Earth[site] as an inspiration I'm very pleased that you have added this capability to Windy. . It's very good.
btw: I have no problem with cloud view or any other when I use 'Vivaldi' or 'Web' browsers. It all works really nicely. Having said that I use Linux with plenty of grunt, which is an advantage.
Each year 'our' weather is changing and seasonal climatic history becomes less and less useful ... and you (Windy.com) are becoming more and more useful as things change.
Thank you very much Windy! -
hi @idefix37 can you please try without logging in, in an anonymous tab?
-
@kekert
I have tried without logging in, with Chrome and with Safari... same result.
But with Firefox it works ! -
Just amazing! 3D is great; 2D is great; everything is great! I don't know how you guys do it but all your work is very much appreciated!
-
I like it.

What a wonderful app. I nearly became a meteorologist in the Australian Navy. Always interested in the weather. Now I fly the MS Flight Simulator and your app helps with flying in real-time. I haven't seen a weather app as good as this anywhere on the internet. It is my No.1 go-to app for weather. Great job, Windy. Cheers from Sydney, Australia.
