on the 17th may there was a SO2 plume covering most of the north east pacific
19th may all sulphur emissions from hawaii had disappeard.

ive been watching all worldwide SO2 plumes daily, since april 11 eruption in the carrabean. on no single occasion has any plume like the hawaii plume, vanished overnight. its physically impossible for such an event to occur.

@stormcrows Hello, air quality data (SO2 and other parameters) are visualized based on data sets from Copernicus. We have not been hacked, this is forecast not real-time monitoring. Therefore there was probably a change in forecast.
Conspiracy theories are not the best explanation.

I agree with @Korina there is no place here for conspiracy theories and fake information !
This SO2 layer shows the amount of sulphur dioxide from ground to the top of atmosphere as explained in layer information. It is the quantity of SO2 in a column of more than 10km high on a one-square meter base. Even with an important concentration of gas at high levels, this not showing any danger for people. Look at Air quality stations in Hawaï during the next eruption, you will see a low SO2 at ground level.
It is clearly shown today with the eruption of a volcano in Iceland where the ground Air quality stations do not report any danger.
This layer is just showing the plume of a volcano.
So why would anyone want to wipe out a plume of gas aloft?
