Better NEXRAD resolution and data product selection

The one thing Windy is missing for me is better NEXRAD data. Apps like Radarscope show the pixels of the scan, and also allows selection of a specific type of scan from a particular radar. This is much better than the composite when trying to determine precipitation for a specific place that is fairly close to the radar.
WeatherUnderground used to offer this, but stopped doing so a couple weeks ago.
