Windy widget is not working

Hi Windy team,
I am a user of iPhone SE (1st generation) with iOS 14.6. I am unable to use the Windy widget for the past 2 months. I have given location permission to both the app and the widget. Kindly refer the condition of the widget and app permission in the attached screenshots. Request to resolve the issue with the next update.

Hi @abinship, what version of the application do you have (can be found at the bottom of the Menu)?
I would recommend turning off and on your device and then reinstalling the application. Let me know if the issue persists.

Hi Petra-pik sorry to revive an older thread, but I’m still facing the same issue as OP, my build number is 31.1.0 Ive been facing this issue for over a month now, and have tried just about everything including a factory restore of my phone! -
Hello @newm, we have new widgets available. The one that is in the left-side menu isn't available anymore.
Instead, we added two new widgets that can be added on your Home screen (here is how to add it – https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT207122) -
Hi @petra-pik, that is the widgets I am referring to. I used to have the widget placed directly on my Home Screen, but about a month or two ago is when my widget stopped working entirely, now it’s just a giant gray square in the middle of my Home Screen. I have never bothered with the widget In the left sided menu

@newm, I would recommend uninstalling and installing the applicaiton.
In case the widget doesn't work, please, let me know what version of iOS, device and application (can be found at the bottom of the menu) you have.

Hi @petra-pik, I just tried deleting and reinstalling the app to no avail. I have an IPhone 11 running iOS 14.7.1, the windy app is version 31.1.0 built 2021-06-16

Hi @petra-pik I too am having the same issue. This thread does not appear to have been updated recently, is there a fix in place yet as I am using the new widgets but they remain grey with no info. Clicking them opens the app but I wanted to use the widget for quick reference.

@sittingoverhere @mauro_m Hello, we currently have no issues connected to iOS widgets, the issue is likely on your side. Please try to reinstall the app and remove widgets from the home screen first.
