Solved US Satellite GOES-16,17 data outage
-
There is currently a data outage of US satellites GOES 16 and GOES 17. The outage started at 12:00 UTC. New data should be available after ~6-8 hours.

This event highlights kinda UI bug: when launching satellite images animation on worldwide coverage map, West side of the map remains static, while satellite images are correctly updated with the timebar values on East side...
To keep info correct, West side part of the map should remain empty (or display "no data" message), to keep the coherence between the validity of GOES satellite images with time bar values; otherwise, info displayed on west side of the map would be false, as not related to current timebar timestamp.

@vsinceac Hello, the west side on the satellite is static since there is a US satellite outage. This should not happen when the satellite is up to date.

It is exactly what I tried to highlight... When data is not available (outage or other) for a given timestamp, it should not be displayed on map... Satellite image validity should be the same as the timestamp on timebar (+/- the minutes delay Windy uses to interpolate the worldwide mosaic).
Old validity images should not be displayed here, otherwise info on West side would be false (actually, kinda choice to be taken between "beautiful" and "correct" data layers :o))
