      @korina
      Here are the weather models which are run by JMA, the Japan Meteorological Agency:

      Seems the LFM model should be a suitable one.

        @idefix37 JMA was the first place I went to regarding researching models for Japan. LFM has only 10 hours of forecast so I was thinking more about using MSM.
        Final choice depends on demand though, as LSM has much finer grid (2km vs 5km of MSM)

          Yes, 10 h is pretty short. I didn’t notice it and only have proposed this model because Japan is a mountainous archipelago, so high resolution is better. Japanese users should give advice.

            @korina Good afternoon!

            I would recommend to add SwissHD 4x4 weather model if it is possible. 😊

            I think it is very good weather model, because the model has high resolution (4x4 Square kilometres) and covers almost entire Europe (I uploaded also attachement with example and region)

            SwissHD 4x4

            Hopefully my recommendation is useful.

            Kind Regards
            Martin Bergstein

              I'd vote for Japan Meteorological Agency's Global Spectrum Model (GSM). This is a global model with a resolution of 0.1875 degrees (approximately 20 km).

              This way it benefits both Japanese locals and also global forecasters.

                Hi Korina,

                May I know how to display the specific position below this weather picker? I have this features before but now, it's gone already.

                    Great idea and glad to hear this may happen. I use windy a lot for forecasting southern Japan and finf it very useful. If you could add JMA model data, that would be fantastic. I hope this happens as our forecasting office would find this extremely useful. Thanks!

                      @anthony10 ....I agree.

                      If the option is available, I would like an additional global model (JMA GSM) made accessible for the global community.

                          GSM would be awesome. But for the Japanese market, MSM is probably better.

                              I do not understand what you mean. I have not said that there is something wrong with Japan. I've said that Japan is a mountainous country and it would be better to offer a weather model performing well in this environment.

                                  The question was ‘Which weather model for Japan should we add next?’
                                  The model that you mention is not available for Japan.
