<![CDATA[Hurricane model ECMWF vs GFS]]>Is there a way or option to be able to show both models at the same time.? It would be interesting to see how the two major models compare when projected at the same time out 3-10 days for example. Maybe display one as primary and the second showing as a single timeline. If not I do recommend this as a potential update Thank you

Global weather models, like GFS or the ECMWF model, CANNOT predict the true force of a hurricane.

This the reason why the NHC uses special weather models for Hurricane forecast and carries reconnaissance missions by aircraft to measure the real wind force. So in any case you must rely on NHC advisories.
However global models, and specially that of the ECMWF, give quite a good prediction of the future track.

So are you are saying it isn't possible to have an overlay of the different tracks so as to better represent the cone of uncertainly. I may be alone in this, but I think it would be a major plus for those who actively use this great website during hurricane season. Thank you here is an example of multiple tracks I only want to see the two major sources

Unfortunately, as one can see, only the data layer "Wind Accumulation" changes with the model (1st link above is for ECMWF, default model). Hurricane Tracker data layer remains the same on the maps of all 3 URLs.
