Widget update

Username Error

Great app, enjoy it very much! The widget, not so much. It does not update regardless of notification settings or location permissions. Please fix.

Widget does not update location unless a refresh is done in the app (menu bar -- find my location).

Location settings for windy are:
Allow only while using the app (selected)
Ask every time
Deny

Notifications (all selected):
Default
Widget update
App icon badgest

Comparing windy to other apps that use location access I feel like, for the widget to work correctly, there should be an option in the location settings for, "allow all the time".

@korina The previous user was right, there should be an option "allow all the time" enabled in the location permissions. Without this option the widget cant update the location in the background. Please fix this, I still have the same problem on Android 12 with Windy Version 35.3.2
