Im looking at subscribing but the concept of a choice between buying for 32.99 for 1 yr or taking out an annual subscription for for 20.89 makes no sense to me. Why would you buy it if it costs less to subscribe ?

It might make sense if buying was a one time only payment but it clearly states 'buy for one year'

@lukephilby Hello, the option "buy for one year" is a single purchase with no subscription that renews every year. Option "Annual subscription is a regular subscription.
