Wrong screen tap reading

From time to time my Android 10 (oneplus nord n50) Windy gets into the mode in which wherever I tap the screen, the pin with current reading (be it wind speed, temperature etc. ) shows up at the same place on screen - an inch or so from the upper udge, centered left-right.
