Extremely innaccurate wind data & forecasting

Extremely innaccuarate wind readings/forecasting.. i believe someone is providing false wind data to throw of the accuracy of the wind mapping and forecasting models. There is currently no wind in my location and the forecast data shows 12 kph winds gustimg to 40kmh.... waste of money, wont be usomg this app anymore...

Should be the holy Devil then (:oj)--- More seriously:
- Windy doesn't falsify data, which is provided by serious people (excepting maybe the few owners of personal weather stations bougth for two pence in a supermarket)
- when one raises such a remark, it would be helpful to also provide more details (location, timestamp, forecast model/level and/or weather station, screenshots, etc.); otherwise, people who can help could not really help

Did you try different weather models ? Depending of the location, this is common to see differences, sometimes big, between the models
