Windy Wave Data

Hi All,

Regarding waves, I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of where the GFS wave data is retrieved from NOAA. I am trying to incorporate wave data into a project but am unable to find the location that contains the data that Windy uses. Any help or guidance in finding the location of said data is greatly appreciated.

This model is Wavewatch III recently called GFS-Wave from last spring:

Data available from NOMADS and Production FTP

GRIB2 files of new GFSWave forecast model are available for free here since a couple of months (take files named [...].global.[...] for worldwide coverage).
Pay attention to new download policy, too: no more than 120 hits per minute ftp get queries (including HEAD queries), otherwise your IP would be blacklisted by NCEP/NOAA servers.
