I am using Windy on my desktop pc through Chrome. Ive selected

my hometown as startup and startlayer as radar.

But whatever i try, it switches to Rotterdam which is 150km to the west from my town. It worked before, why not now.

Even w10 location is set to my hometown

I restarted a million times, but it doesnt want to change.

At Windy @developers please use W3C geolocation. You guys changed something in the last update and it pointing to the ISP service provider instead to my real home, which can be also updated through ip, but with W3C.

Edge/Firefox/IE uses W3C also. They all pointing to the good location.

And since developers or programmers arent that fast. I have a workaround if it doesnt work under Chrome.

Click on the 3 little dots 8047bc0e-9d90-48e3-9cc0-7893333ba0c6-image.png

          Click on More tools fa233067-6e14-4a3f-84ff-960b93394f5b-image.png

          Click on 92d79f77-3ba6-4b01-b800-4741d38202b8-image.png

Click on the gear icon (settings) a1aae0cb-3bc6-4b29-8cbd-ba3c2371e786-image.png

From the tab menu select Locations:

          Click add location

Enter your home town latitude and longtitude. Can be found with google maps.

          Click the cross

Scroll down to the bottom to the sensors

Select your custom hometown location from the dropdown menu, and your done. close everything and restart chrome, and it should point now to your hometown.

Kinda sad Chrome or Windy screws this up.

And if it still doesnt work, Windy should fix this in their code for Chrome, or whoever is responsible for this.

@oxize Hello, radar function "Find my location" does not take into account your set Start-up location in settings, it may point you to your internet provider location.
