Selecting radar stops other audio

Whatever audio-related app I've got running will stop playing whenever I open the radar map and will often times close that application. As far as I can tell it is the only map option that does this.
Currently using Windy ver 31.1.0 on iPhone 11 iOS ver 14.7.1.

Hello @seenyoursmith, the sound and vibration of the lightning can be turned off. See the attached screenshot.

I already had both of those disabled to begin with. For example: I've got Spotify playing and I want to check the weather. As soon I open the radar map, the music stops completely. No pausing, no volume decrease. And that goes for any application I've got that plays audio.
