Little Lightning Bolts On ECMWF Forecast

I just subscribed to premium and for some reason I'm seeing little lightning bolts in my forecast when i pick rain, thunder on the ECMWF model.

Are these saying that lightning is forecasted?

There doesn't seem to be a way to turn that off except to switch to a different model. Is there?

I'm running this in a browser on a PC.

The Rain layer from ECMWF data includes lightning forecast. See:

With this model, you can’t display only the rain forecast without lightning.
