Satellite view not playing
-
Have tried playing the satellite animation in multiple browsers but it's not working. Stays on the one image.

Right, the satellite image centered on longitude of Japan (Himawari satellite I guess) is static since about 2021-09-02 23:00 UTC.
A priori Windy didn't received Himawari products since then.
Images covering other areas on Earth (Europe, Americas - GOES and METEOSAT satellites I guess), are correct: they change on animation over last 12 hours.I think Windy should NOT display satellite images in the mosaic during data outage periods together with other satellite images, as they are no more synchronized.
A delta time of 5m is required anyway, as satellite products for Meteosat are generated every 15 minutes, while for GOES and Himawari every 10 minutes; but the gap between the images of the mosaic should not be > 5m.
In my opinion, missing images (delta T > 5m) should not be rendered at all on the animation in such a case: better would be to display "Not data" over corresponding areas instead displaying old images (which is wrong info, as not synchronized to timestamp displayed on time bar).Btw., an "Info" UI control would be required on Satellite data layer (like the one available for weather forecast models), to display on a popup full details about the satellites, their frequency, IR band, coverage, etc.)

@vsinceac @vicstormchaser Hello, yes, we had data outage during night, but it has been solved already.

Still showing up blank on my browswer.
Available at JMA http://www.jma.go.jp/bosai/map.html#4/7.809/143.268/&elem=ir&contents=himawari&lang=en&interval=middle -
Still not solved: right now and over previous 12h, Himawary satellite images (centered on Japan), are only refreshed for two validities (near 2021-09-04 03h UTC), while images from all other satellites have well all expected validities.
Again, missing satellite images should NOT be displayed on map together with other satellite images updated correctly: they are not contemporary and give wrong info (their validity date does not match the date/time displayed on time bar).

@vsinceac @JRUDMAN @vicstormchaser Hello, the satellite has been solved, there was a data outage.
