When you are placed on an elevated location, or have a clear view of the surroundings, I try to identify buildings, church, rocks, by using ios compass to know the bearing of that place related to my position.
      Let’s say I identify a house at 235 deg.
If using a paper map, it is easy to trace a line that let you identify that building. But in windy map, without the capability to trace a line that starts at my location, and would i.e. show a line at 235 deg. Of my position, that is much more difficult
Could you add that feature to Windy Maps ?
      Thank you

By using distance and planning tool ...
        more options ....
you can see that the bearing from location (1) to loc. (2) is 59 degrees

The feature described by @Gkikas-LGPZ is available in Windy. The same tool should be useful in Windy Maps too and would probably fill your need.
