Default scale

Default scale when I select the position is too broad for my marine use.
The best default scale would varies according to how people uses, so better to be able to set by setting.

What do you mean with ‘default scale’? Could you be more explicit. Or at least show a screenshot.
If you talk about the Distance & planning tool, it shows distances in tenth of NM, which is more than enough for a weather app.

I guess it is about "map zoom". If my assumption would be true:

• Windy.com doesn't save last selected map scale in User Preferences, thus some default map scale is used on each new user session
• one can use favorites URLs for Windy.com, which allows always opening Windy on a web browser with any prefered scale/layers/position/etc. (see details here)
• I don't know about using the Windy.comm App. on small screen device.
