You probably see this temperature (-34°C) in the Satellite view with infra + setting. This temperature is not wrong: It is the temperature at top of clouds, not near the ground.

You're misreading the post.
The current temp here is about 33C
It's saying -18C in the Capital, but the correct temp in other parts.
This is a small country (1980 sq miles)
