Nahimic companion, keeps reinstalling
-
Some days ago I got a popup, about if I agree with the terms of nahimic companion.
I looked and saw it was installed on my pc, I never installed it.
I tried to remove it, but it keeps getting back.
I don't use it, and I don't want it.
Any idea how to remove or that is it required?

Hello, you need to remove Nahimic to fix this error of keeps reinstalling itself. At the start use Win+R to open Run and write in “MSConfig“. Here from the newly opened System Configuration menu, go to the Services tab and tick on the option that says “Hide all Microsoft services“. See https://appuals.com/nahimic-companion-keeps-reinstalling/ here for more solutions. By doing it you will easily find the Nahimic services from the remaining list of options, s press on the Services Cell to sort all options in alphabetical order, untick the Nahimic service, tap on Apply, and then the OK button. Here open “This PC” right-click anywhere inside the folder and choose the option of “Properties“. Now from the newly opened System menu, press on the option Device Manager and enlarge Sounds, video, and game controllers. Now remove or disable the “Nahimic mirroring device“. In the end in case your audio is not playing for your media and games then update your main audio driver and ensure to change the updates to manual instead of automatic to encounter the error.

Permanently disable Nahimic. Does nothing but cause a problem
it just an companion app that work alongside with Nahimic. It provides a user interface for the driver and allow you to add additional Nahimic features and to let u know the version and to help you maintain your drivers.
I don't know why many people want to remove nahimic but as a gamer and have used this app for a while, it really improve my audio performance in game so you can try out Nahimic first before uninstalling the program, as it’s highly recommended.
Because it is a system app so if you remove it, the sound quality may noticeably decline and cause some trouble with your audio like- Sound quality may noticeably decline.
- The volume you experience may not be as loud as with the driver installed.
