3 guys got lost in the caribbean sea two weeks ago and their parents are desperate. I hoped that I could go back in time in the simulation to see how were the weather conditions back on september 28 but I could not find any way to go past the current day. Am I missing something or are there any archives I could check to see how were the wind and currents back on that day? if not, that could be an excellent feature that could help many ppl in different situations. Thx

Sorry, there are no archives stored in Windy. There are other weather websites which offer historical data that could help you.

There is Meteologix similar to Weather.us

            https://meteologix.com/fr/observations/middle-america/wind-direction/20211010-0900z.html

But they provide only observations, so at sea there are very few information.

If the goal is saving people, you should rather try contacting national met services in the area.
They surely have all required past data and would be happy to help.

                ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
