Increase Font Size In App Android

Hi All,
Is there a way to increase the actual font size of the android Windy App?
The font size is very small, want to know if I can increase the resolution (not just zoom into a place on a map) but actually increase the size of everything, as now my eyes are deteriorating a bit with age, need to seee things a bit bigger, IE larger font sizes etc
It's the lower frame 'Wind data' I need to view bigger. Looking at the Day's wind and wind gusts, these fonts are really small on my mobile, just need to increase these if possible?Hope someone can advise here

What a shame.Hopefully it is something you can consider.
I actually do a lot of kayaking, and I don't like having to keep hunting for my glasses,,Would be great if there was some kind of zoom / increase size slider or button.

I agree, fonts are too small and even with glasses, some are difficult or impossible to read on phone. Only way I can possibly see if having to do screen shot/grab so I can zoom in from photos.
Please fix this issue and give option to increase font size. -

This is a superb app.. but for my eyes it is essentially unusable on mobile devices -
@Irishconger Hello, there is currently no plan to change the font. This would require significant changes in the app and interface, we might think about it in the future.

As people say, windy is a nice app, but I won't be buying it while I can't read it.

It’s the other way around, Android app has normal font size for temperature and you need a microscope for iOS . Just tried today on Android free version. I’m premium on iOS and and unpleasantly surprised.

Feel the same, would be good to be able to adjust fontsize and size of symbols like for tide,
strangly on my bigger tablet the fontsize etc. (10") is a bit smaller then on my adroid mobile (5")
Please fix / improve that asap!

I totally get what you mean — those small fonts in the Windy app can be really hard on the eyes, especially when you’re checking the detailed wind data. Unfortunately, Windy itself doesn’t have a dedicated setting to increase the font size for the “Wind data” panel specifically. It mostly relies on your device’s display settings.
What has worked for me on Android is using the system-wide font size and display scaling options:
- Go to Settings → Display → Font size and increase it.
- Some phones also have a Display size / Screen zoom option — this makes everything on your screen slightly bigger, including apps like Windy.
It’s not perfect, because it scales the entire interface, but it does make that lower panel a lot easier to read. Another tip: if you just need to see the numbers clearly, try rotating your phone to landscape mode — sometimes the panel layout changes slightly and makes the fonts appear bigger.
On a side note, I’ve also used third-party apps that overlay text magnification on your screen, which can help if you just want certain sections zoomed without changing the whole display. It’s a bit of a workaround, but it can save your eyes on those detailed readings.
