How to plot a course for sailing?

Hello, I have downloaded the Windy.app and the Windy.com app and I have purchased the pro version of the windy.app. I have been unable to figure out how to plot a course for a sailing rout on either platform. What must I do to unlock this feature? Than you.

Windy.app has nothing to do with windy.com, only the name is similar. Here you are on the community forum of windy.com so we cannot give any advise about this app with a blue logo. The app of Windy.com is available for iOS and Android with your Premium bonus. -

I don’t know exactly what you want to do. On Windy.com website there is a feature called Route planner (right click on mouse) which allows you to plot a route. It provides the weather forecast along this route and specially the wind. In the mobile app this feature (long press on screen) allows to plot a track but offers only the distance between each waypoints, not the weather.

Ok, Thank you for the help! It appears that although the performance of the wind map of Windy.com is superior to PredictWind, Predict wind is still better for ocean navigation, because you can easily plot a course and it will give you all the data for weather routing. It is a shame Windy.com has not made this service or I would definitely choose them.

I could see how that might work, but that wont work as see. I need an app that can work on an I-pad with satellite connection from an iridium go.

You can see our app on App Store or Google Play.
