Distance and planning: app vs browser

I use the app to plan hikes and know elevation gain in advance. The distance and planning feature on the app allows me to select pathways and automatically calculates distances etc.. However, it seems like this is not allowed on the browser version: I have to manually add waypoints and this is not convenient. Am I missing something?

@stella93bs Hello, I think you referring to 2 different apps. Windy Maps has only mobile version. Windy.com is a different app focused on weather.
