      Re: Wind chill feature?

I do like how the data is displayed but feel adding a simple value of wind chill would add a lot of value in our sailing off-season. Where a number of free weather sites offer that data, it is somewhat annoying that the service we pay for can't present that basic calculation (using data already available).

Your consideration for everyone who go outside in areas that fall below 0C, would be appreciated.

@gregcol We will consider it for the future development.

@korina Please do include the wind chill factor. I'm not sure how this factor is viewed by people, but for some of us it's a big deal to know the wind chill. For me, it's second nature to know the wind chill if the winter wind is blowing. Thank you

While your at it a measurement for the summer given relative humidity would be helpful. It would make the data helpful year round.

yes but often sites compute a "real feel" temperature in much the same way as windchill.

80deg with 95% humidity feels hotter than 90 degrees with low humidity for example. The air's ability to evaporate sweat is inhibited because of the saturated air. So it feels hotter.

I'd like to add my support for this layer. I like to get outside as much as possible and this would be very useful for planning purposes.

Im still finding my way around this site as im fairly new to WINDY.
but yeah the windchill factor would be a great feature as i live in the Northern part of Manitoba, Canada.

Bumping this topic because I still have to use Wunderground to get the windchill and heat index temperatures. I'd prefer to cut Wunderground out of the sites I typically have to check if Windy can provide this calculated data.
