Uploaded pictures on a saved favourite

When you have dropped a pin at a place your going to save in a favourites folder or a place of intrest highlighted and then upload a photo of that very place where does that actual uploaded photgraph go? does it have to go through a vetting process before its available in my favourites folder. Or where does the photo go because all the photos ive uploaded today are not there ? message saying you photo has been uploaded?

Any help much appreciated.

@mockingbird71 Hello, each photo goes through approval process, so it takes a couple of days till it becomes available.
