Problem with displayed GFS precipitation values on Alaskan locations

Over the last month or so, something changed in the precipitation displays for picked Alaskan locations when looking at the 3 hour window blocks. Also, the NAM for Alaska doesn't add up values to display in the 3 hour window...but just lists the value at the 3rd hour when looking at it without the hourly display.

Could you be more explicit to explain what has changed with GFS values?

Concerning your second assertion about NAM, it seems you are right as shown in these screenshots:

Here is a screen shot that may help...notice that the 4 pm and 10 pm values are blank...

Let us know what you find incorrect regarding the GFS model.

I have asked to @akwx, "Could you be more explicit to explain what has changed with GFS values?" So I can't give you more information about the problem he mentioned with GFS precipitation values... even looking at his screenshot.

Thank you for reporting this issue. Multiple models were displaying wrong and inconsistent 1h/3h precipitation values.

Fix has just been rolled out
