Precipitation prediction and visualization

Next a screenshot regarding Rain, Thunder for Utrecht, NL at 0h Dec 7:
I'm using 1h steps in map and forecast. On the map you see 3.8mm and in the forecast 0.6mm. Ik looks like the map shows the forecasted precipitation of the last 3 hours before 0h.
Unlike other websites, this behaviour makes precipitation areas make much more intensive and extended. A few hours later for example (2h 7 Dec):
Forecast 0mm, but shown on map still 0.7mm, though it's forecasted dry for 2 hours!
It seems to me that map display and forecast should correspond, as they do for all other weather elements. -
@zeddicus Hello, the values changes with the zoom level and they may differ a little bit. The correct values are always in the detailed forecast.

@Korina Hi Korina, that's not really my point. My issue is that the values on the map don't correspond with the values in the forecast, when using 1h forecast steps (Premium).
The map always shows 3h values. Indeed, if I switch to 3-hourly forecast, then you're right: the values only differ slightly. But in 1h forecast thet may differ by a big amount.
It would be nice if I switch the forecast from 3h to 1h, then the map also switches to 1h precipitation display. -
@zeddicus
Rain layer is showing the 'last 3h' amounts forecast. But the 3h amounts change every hour.The layer and the point forecast are probably not using the same model parameters ?
