Dawn is Conspicuously Missing From The Forecast
-
on the forecast for a location, dusk is shown along with Sunrise and Sunset.
But dawn is conspicuously missing.
When planning a photo shoot, I often map out the weather at a location and it's usually the case I'm trying to catch first or last light.
It would be great if you could add dawn (nautical twilight.) It would save me from having to look it up elsewhere.

@jimerb We will consider it, thank you.

@jimerb
Have you tried windy-plugin-sun-position ?
https://community.windy.com/topic/9017/sun-position-plugin?_=1639390953289BTW As the dusk time in your location is aprox. 30 min after sunset,
dawn is 30 min before sunrise! -

Hi, Are sure this plugin is now working again? I can't use it.
In your link its developer said that "I'll fix the plugin when I find the time to do so (hopefully soon)". Apparently he did not find the time. -
-
@gkikas-lgpz I'm using this on a tablet mainly. And since plugins have to be reloaded each time, it would take me longer to load and search then just look elsewhere.
Also, the "sweet spot" within both nautical twilight's are very brief and every minute counts. I have to get into position and setup equipment ahead of time. I need precise times to maximize shooting (and sleep time lol.)

@jimerb Hello, the sun plugin is not working yet, the developer will fix it when he finds time. We do not display dawn at the moment.
-
@jimerb Support this strongly. Can you also indicate whether dawn and dusk are civil, nautical (preferred) or astronomical.
-
@friasco Hello, the dusk is civil.

Hi I would love this feature too, even more nautical dawn and dusk. When checking the surf forecast in winter it would be awesome to know if i can go surf at dawn before work in the same place that i check the waves :)
