Clearing the previous search list in Windy for iOS

When the "home" icon is pressed (vertical icon menu, lower right), the
home location is displayed at the top of the screen with a standard
"search" (magnifying glass) icon at the left. Clicking the search icon
displays a vertical list of previously found locations on the left side
of the screen, some of which have a white "favorites" heart, but others
are just the result of previous searches, or entered by mistake.

I can find no way to clear this list. I would like to clear it
altogether except for those locations which are marked as favorites. Is
there a way to do this? Closing and restarting the app doesn't help.

There is no way to clear this list of previous searched locations. Names are gradually replaced by new ones.
