      These new layers should be very useful tools for agriculture and water supply. It's an impressive job.
      But which parameters are used. Does the different type of soils / plant covers all over the world are considered?
      May we have more information about these parameters?

        @idefix37 Hello! We appreciate your interest in new drought monitoring layers. Soil types and plant cover are considered. The current model uses vegetation information from ERA5-Land and information about the soil types based on the SoilGrids product.
