Many alerts for one location
-
Hi, I just become a premium member. I have my location in favorites and created an alert with snow, rain and temperature.
Now is the AND operator still valid. Will the alert come to my iPhone if all criterias are met?
If yes, the on how do I create different alerts? One for when the rain is much. When the temperature is low, or one with wind. Like three different alerts so each one meats one condition. More logical this way.
Thanks

@vcon Hello, if you have created alert with more than one condition, then to receive it all the conditions have to be met at the same time.
You can create separate alerts for the same location by placing the weather picker within the same area.

@korina Hi Korina, That is not possible, if i click on my area which is a town, then it selects always the same town, i cannot click lets say a centimeter on the right of my favorite. It select it again with the same name and alert. The only way is to go to another area next to mine. Which is not ideal. Also the alert name changes the Location Name. If i have a location favorite as "Athens" and make an alert for "Rain" then the favorite becomes "Rain" !!!!!!!!
A simple solution will be to change the AND to OR as a operator.
Or why not be able to add multiple alerts. It is easy. -
@vcon
You may call it Athens - Rain
or Athens R
or …
Imagine Windy makes a new Alert system with AND and OR operators. If you set an alert for Athens for wind or rain or temperature, you will be pleased that Windy identify clearly the alert, not only showing ‘There is an alert for Athens’ -
@vcon You can always rename your alerts in Favorites. As I metioned, you can choose point on the map next to your village and the result will be the same, since model ECMWF has 9km resolution. ECMWF is default model for alerts.
