To complete what @Gkikas-LGPZ, do not forget that Windy only show you weather forecast from institutes like ECMWF, DWD,… They don’t make forecast. If you are not happy, you should blame those institutes and their models like IFS, ICON, GFS etc… You should also try to compare several models to understand which one is the best

Did you draw a conclusion from just one "failure"?
I checked meteo. observations form nearby airport (Cerro Moreno Int'l Airport)

and I see no rain for the last +24 hrs.
Maybe the rainfall you observed was a very local phenomeno
not forecasted even from the most experienced forecaster.
Do not blame Windy!
