      I find the colour used for clouds to be too similar to the white/blue background on the Meteog. tab on locations. Dense cloud is fine, which is dark grey....it's the lightest shade which is very very hard to see...

          @korina As an extension to this point, is it possible to selectively expand the cloud scale? I only fly in the bottom 5,000 feet so would find it beneficial to see more detail in the lower layers and occult the upper air. Thanks, Andy

            You cannot expand the cloud scale in Meteogram, but for flights you can use the Route planner (only on browser version not in the mobile app).
            Right click on mouse to select Distance & planning. Seems you get a little more details on clouds.

            Or alternatively the Flight planner. In menu click Install Windy plugins and select Flight planner.

                If you use a tablet, Flight planner is available via browser. Just bookmark https://www.windy.com/plugins?47.398,0.704,5
