<![CDATA[Thermal forecasts]]>For paragliders and all others who use thermals, it would be very helpful to have some kind of thermal section with possibiliy to see the quality/condition of themals on a map. Meteo-Parapente is a good example how wind and thermals can be visualized.
Is there any chance that windy will work on that as well?

Updraft velocity - the average strength of thermal updrafts (vertical velocity). Subtract your gliders sink rate to arrive at the effective thermal strength.
