For paragliders and all others who use thermals, it would be very helpful to have some kind of thermal section with possibiliy to see the quality/condition of themals on a map. Meteo-Parapente is a good example how wind and thermals can be visualized.
Is there any chance that windy will work on that as well?

Great feature! Can you also add the following?
Updraft velocity - the average strength of thermal updrafts (vertical velocity). Subtract your gliders sink rate to arrive at the effective thermal strength.
It is possible that Windy, or other weather forecasting software or apps, could develop a thermal section with the capability to visualize the quality and condition of thermals on a map. This feature would likely be of interest to paragliders and other pilots who rely on thermals for lift.

To calculate the effective thermal strength of your glider, take the sink rate into account first.
